Ya, the 427 won't last long with him sniffing around. He can always ship a full tank of PEI water back to Morris also ... we all know he needs more water on his property.

That style of T-series GMC tilt cab was produced from 1960 through 1983, The badging on the fender that says 6500 V-Eight was used from 1973 through 1979.
One thing though, I'll bet it has the standard 366 because the optional 427 would carry a rectangular 427 badge on it, something they used from 1969 - 1979 on both Chevrolet & GMC versions.

in the mid 70s I was working at the coke plant in Hamilton. Most of there trucks had the 427, they parked them inside at night and in the morning the drivers would fire them up and rev the hell out of them. Guessing that was to build air quick so they could move them

My older brother drove for Coke in Hamilton back in the mid-70s. He drove one of those obscure Dodge tilt cabs that was like the old A100 van / pickup cabs but had the big wheel flares. I think they were L600 or L700 models and they were produced from mid-66 through 1970 or 71. Does that ring a bell?
