I just go wind of a nice original SD for sale this evening, boy I wish I had money. I could enjoy a car like that. All original, never been modified, even the original Uniroyal radials on it...
Why was I not born into a rich family who lived on about 50 acres with multiple storage buildings for old cars?

Sorry, not trying to tease you guys. I'm actually trying to "broker" ( but not for personal monetary gain) a deal between the owner (friend of a friend here) and a prospective US buyer, (friend of a friend down there).
Can't tell you much about the car except it was sold new in Manitoba and is a pretty plain car, one owner.
Great time for a US buyer to come here to purchase, that is for sure.

Seller's initials L.E. ? (possibly L.A.) I'm pretty sure it'll be his car. He bought it new while working at the dealership if I remember correctly. Nice guy too.
What price does he have on it?

Yes, he passed away a few weeks ago and the family has it.
So far no definite price but the impression I get is that they think it's worth a fortune, which it's not. I am not in touch with the family but rather with someone who is, and I told him that he should advise them to get an appraisal, a realistic, what-can-we-expect-to-get-for-it type of appraisal, not one for insurance.

Yes, as I recall he ran a pretty competitive 69 Camaro. It's been years since since I saw him race.
The T/A looks completely original, yes. Very plain, 74, automatic, 8 track player and that's about it for options, it's actually the least desirable SD of all, a 74 automatic. Still VERY cool cars though.

I know, I was looking at it again the other night. Hadn't been on there in a while. It has an incredibly high percentage of the SD cars ever built.
My old project car from 10 years ago is in there. As much fun as it would have been to have an SD, restoring an extremely rusty car just because it was so rare just didn't appeal somehow.

Radio Birdman (an Aussie band) and The Hellacopters (a Swedish band) ... got their albums ... love 'em!
