RE: 1965 Sport Deluxe

Pretty much!

I got a different chassis this summer from a 66 Chevelle so I can start from the ground up. Box the frame, full air ride, I'm already running 18's all around, upgrade to big brake discs all 4 corners, and I'll be throwing in my modded rebuilt carbed 350 for now. For the body, I need new quarters, custom trunk pans, mini tubbing the rear, and doing a steel cowl hood. (grafted from a 67)

Chassis up on stands and no time to square/level/repair and box. Body mounts under doors and floor pan need repair. had thought about ordering a kit but realized there is only 4 in need of repair so decided to cut new pieces instead.

Drivers rear rail has small kink from fender bender. Came back small amount with crescent wrenches but needs some heat and  tug. If not will cut and replace.

Seems like the GSPs find their way into almost every picture. And most that are familiar with those dogs know they seem to cover a lot of ground.

Car is at body shop for paint. Trying to find replacement front fenders and inner fenders. There is some questionable body work that should be redone.  Cant recall if Chevelle fenders will fit

little bit of trimming to do on the front edge where the eyebrow goes but it will work fine. I would buy the AMD fenders that Eastwood sells. $430.99 each but the fenders should be a pretty good fit
