The wheel lip opening trim, to start.

A nose cone, I know where I can order one but you never know.

Original Dash speaker ?

any Grande trim.

Fender skirts, but with the matching trim.

I would love to have a extra set of tail lights because you never know.

I could make someone very happy wink

I tore apart 2 very good 1968 Parisienne doors this weekend ... clearing out stuff I've been saving for someone else to use ... that someone never came to be. I just kept some of the door hardware .... the glass, panels/armrests, and the actual doors are going to the dump.

Hello everyone !

My pal hit a deer last week with his '69 Canadian Parisienne. He's really bummed about it... needs a driver side front fender and front bumper to make things right again.

Looking for any leads I can find on this rare car. hope you can help!

Welcome here Tom and I hope you have success finding parts for him.

I'm going to post a copy of what you wrote over in the "parts wanted' section to give it better exposure.

Hi Carl,

Thanks for accepting my registration. We did hook up with a source for parts through this forum and my friend is very happy with this connection. He was able to get all the parts he needed to repair his pride and joy.

I want to thank you and your membership for their prompt assistance and help to keep another classic Pontiac alive and kicking.

The adventure continues !

Best regards,

Tom.

Hi Tom
I'm hoping that your post doesn't mean you're leaving us. We need you, and your friend to continue to chime in.
We also need to see the end result of your endeavours. Yep, we need pics.

Excellent Tom, and thanks for giving me credit but the truth is, it's all Todd, our Administrator here. It's a one man show and he has done a tremendous job of uniting Canadian Pontiac lovers.

Your success story is one of many here, and as norontcan stated, don't leave now! You're just beginning to have fun here!

Thanks again everyone. And no, I won't be leaving the forum, it's safe to say the adventure has just begun! My friend Topper is not an internet user, but he does know Pontiacs and other classic cars inside out and backwards.

We have already discussed getting some pics of the project and he also has a collection of used and NOS parts that he may wish to post in the future.

I'm just a willing facilitator to help my friend reach his goals at the present, I'm more of a van lover, but who knows what may come along that will get my interest.

You have a great forum going here gents. I hope I can contribute more to it soon.

Tom.

It took a while to get an opportunity to photograph my buddy's car, but here are the pics finally!

Topper (nickname) has owned this car since 1979, it had 63,000 miles on it at that time, has around 87,000 now. 1969, 350v8 w/ 350 turbo, factory tinted windows. daily driven every summer.

Photos were taken on a nice late summer day when it's owner was hard at work on his farm, so the car is safely parked in the orchard among some other relics he keeps around.

Many thanks to the members who helped us find parts to fix the deer hit this car suffered, the repairs went well and it came out sparkling!

Beautiful car! Nice colour combo.

Also like the '60s pick up in the background ... my favourites are the 60 - 66 Chev/GMCs.

I'll pass on your comments to my friend.

He has a couple pickup cabs like that, and many other vintage cars and parts.

The Pontiac is his favourite pair of "old shoes" by far.

So Tom are those pics after the repair from the deer or before?

Hi,

These pictures are after the repairs, with the fenders and bumper we purchased installed. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of the before damage. But I can describe that the left fender was crushed behind the bumper about 4 inches and the bumper was shoved in the same amount and embedded. The car took the entire hit dead on the left corner on the bumper. He also replaced the valance with the spare part he got, because his old valance was in rough shape before and needed to be replaced.

The body shop didn't get the lower fender panel shaped as good as he would have liked, but it's hard to see that in the photo. Overall Topper was pretty happy with the result, he was very worried that he would not be able to find these parts before we hooked up with Canadian Poncho. Thanks again for all your help
