Does the rad still have a decent finger guard? Is the car a 3-speed manual or a Powerglide? Is it a 300 series or Malibu?

it is a 300 series and 3 speed standard, not sure what you mean buy finger gaurd but if you mean the little metal piece on top of the rad it is all there . the rad is mint still has a tag wired to it from gm

That is what I meant by the finger guard, the metal piece on the top of the rad.

Hmmm. A 300 series. Do you still have the 300 emblems from the rear quarters, plus the tail lights & bezels? To me that stuff in interesting.

You mention low mileage on the car, so how is the rubber floor covering? Usually those rubber floor covers will rot the floors underneath, but if the covering itself is in decent shape it is of interest.

Does it have a radio or just a block-off plate?

The fuel line between the fuel pump and the carburetor, is it original and in good shape? The engine itself? Air cleaner, is it pitted or halfway decent? Also the breather type oil filler cap on the valve cover is of interest.

I suppose I should ask approximately what part of Ontario your are located.

have both 300 emblems but the one on pass has groves in it, looks like it was hit, pass side taillight and bezel in good condition, drivers side was hit so the chrome has a crack but the lens  is really good, rubber on floor is not good, no radio just block off plate,  fuel line is original and good condition, do not know about engine , the car has sat since 1967 so I assume it is seized, air cleaner looks good has some minor surface rust but not bad, still has sticker on top, oil filler cap appears to be breather type, I am located in Dryden,Ontario, I could post pics but can't figure out how to upload them

Pics of a low mile car like that could be useful reference for the restoration guys.

Here's a little tutorial I posted a while back regarding posting photos:

How to post pics:

When you are making a post, you will see a button that says "Attach Image(s)" in the lower left as shown below:

Untitled.jpg

Click on that button and a window will open up to the files on your computer.  Select the pic file in that window and click on the "open" button in the lower right of that window.

Your pic will upload to this forum and be listed under "Attached Files" in the post window (see below):

Untitled2.jpg

Then simply click on [Insert] and your pic will appear in your post.

Good luck!  smile
