I wanted to buy this car a year ago before we bought our G8 but she wasn't ready to sell. Her health situation has changed (not for the better I'm afraid) or it wouldn't even be for sale now. Heck, original tires on a supercharged GP with 40km can't be too common!
I'm scared there will be nobody out there with money and she's gonna end up with some lowball offer as her best offer. If that happens, I'll buy the thing and put it in the shed, drive it when the weather is bad to preserve my G8 before I let somebody steal it!

We have serviced a number of these cars (GP, Regal, Impala etc.) over the years at our dealership. As far as front wheel drive GM cars go, I'd say they were the best one ever made for low maintenance costs.

This car has not sold and at our family gathering this evening my sister in law told me to do what it takes to sell this car. I can't store it for her forever, she has no place for it and neither one of us can bear the thought of it just sitting outside not being taken care of if nobody buys it.
If you are all interested in the car, feel free to contact me.
As far as performance? Nowhere near it, it's about 100 less horsepower. But make not mistake, these are great cars. Great enough that if someone doesn't step up with a half decent offer I will own this car and it will be my daily driver. It would be a shame to do that to this car but it could happen. It wouldn't break my heart!

It's very easy to get these cars into the 13's (or lower) There is a large aftermarket for this engine and the GTP. You can get kits to allow you to install different sized pully's on the supercharger. When I had my Regal GS (same chassis), I had the smaller pulley, cold air intake, free flowing exhaust and ran low 14's on crappy street tires. My 60' times were terrible. I'd love to have this car but we have other priorities right now. I remember when these cars were new I would bring one home from work and take my friends out an it would shock the hell out of them how hard they would pull.
