Always wondered why my near fully optioned 67 427 Caprice came with only an AM radio same as these cars. Read if you ordered a rear antenna you could not get FM radio
FM stations didn't have the range they do today. They are line of sight, the CN Tower didn't exist back then and only the biggest cities had an FM station. AM was sufficient for folks back then, and Top 40 was also good enough.
I see a couple of things that are in error on that car. The cut-in on the trunk with black paint was only for the Impala, Impala SS and Caprice. Biscayne and Bel Air models omitted the black cut-in on the 67s. Also, being an Oshawa-built car it should have a body-coloured firewall and trunk. Since the car is currently in the U.S. and presumably restored in the U.S. by an American to American specs it is totally understandable why it was done in the manner in which we see it today. Also worth mentioning that starting in 1966 Ste. Thérèse cars were painted just the same as the U.S.-spec cars (lacquer paint, black firewall & spatter trunk) and were produced for sale only in the U.S. in 66 & 67.
Earlier I mentioned F70-14 tires as being the 14" 70-series tire offering for the full-size cars that year, but I really should have said G70-14 tires. I'm too used to thinking in terms of Beaumonts and Chevelles.

What a sweetheart of a 67 Chev and the only thing i would do different...................... black wall tires. Other than that..................... sweet 67 heaven.

George, you must be a youngster, whitewalls make that car!!! LOL
Thanks Randy
Randy, i am 57 years old and i grew up on white walls, my dad always had white walls on his cars and i have always had wide white walls on all my fifties cars...........but................. on this type of car the white walls just do not fit. Big muscle needs black wall tires and this is coming from a guy that loves accessories and loading a car down with every possible option and accessory that was offered for any given year. Cheers. George

Blackwalls would look good, but the whitewalls just give that car a clean and bright look. Maybe a set of G70-14 redlines with mag-style wheelcovers (it is a 1967 Chevrolet after all).

I always liked those mag-type hubcaps, especially with the red walls. There was a 68 Chevelle SS 396 convertible in our subdivision with those. It was red, black trim, 4 speed.

Cam, did they ever actually offer the (simulated) mag full wheel covers on a full size Chevrolet in 1967. I have never seen them on a full size and i thought that they were only on Chevelle's and Camaro's for the most part. Any photo's of full size Chevy's with these fake mag wheel covers. Cheers. George

George, they did offer them on all drum brake Chevrolets back in 67. They were factory or dealer items in the U.S., but I think they were still dealer-only in Canada for 1967. After that they were a factory option in Canada.
I've got a set of them on my 67 Chevelle.

Just conversating (its now a word) George, not arguing, but I am attracted to plain, bench seat, column shift if automatic, high power cars with white walls.
Its probably partly the car salesman in me, as nothing sells a car like clean non scuffed white walls. While most everyone doesn't like them, they give the car the elderly owner vibe that's worth much more than the white wall its self!!
I've literally turned whitewalls "out" 100's of times in my day, as many were installed with the whitewall in so they were usually in perfect non scuffed condition.
