Saw this ad online and thought it could be a good source of parts for somebody with a '59/'60 Pontiac that needs a frame and other mechanical parts. Would be even better if you owned a '59 Chevy.
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
Is it just me or does this 59 seem too solid to do this to. Looking at these photos this car, it seems really solid. Why part out a solid car !!!!!!!!!

I have no knowledge of this car in particular, but to me it looks like a restoration project gone bad. Looks like the car was all taken apart, the frame restored, and then the owner ran out of time, or money, or health, or whatever. He does say "could be saved", which sounds like if you wanted to put the time, effort and money into it you could restore the car as is, but I'm betting he realizes that not many people would want to do that to a 4-door (unfortunately), and thus the best way to recoup his losses is to sell it for parts.
I'll tell you the truth, if I had the time/money/facility available, I'd buy the whole mess and do something with it. I love '59 Chevys, no matter how many doors they have on them. There are so many things you could do with this, if you had the resources to do so.

Mark, i totally agree with you 100% on your statement. What you said makes a lot of sense and i too have always loved 59 Chevy's, no matter how many doors they have. Cheers. George
