Anyone out there have any experience with front Inner fender replacement/repair on a 1957 Canadian Pontiac? I am deciding whether to repair or replace the inner fenders on my 1957 Pathfinder and it appears that these parts are identical to 1957 Inner fenders for the Chev - with the exception of routing holes for the heater fresh air intake, which I would modify. Any help/experiences/advice with this would be appreciated before I lay out $300 US per inner fender.....Thanks
Tim, the inner fenders on a 57 Pontiac are completely different from a 57 Chevrolet, no way no how. How do i know.................well, i presently have a 57 Pontiac that i restored 1996-1997 and i had a 57 Chevrolet that i restored and owned from 1984 to 2007. Tim, i hate to be the bringer of bad news but those 57 Pontiac inner fenders are going to be near impossible to find. Out west is your only hope and forget the American 57 Pontiac ones because they are a completely different animal as well. I guess you will have to repair the ones you have. Good luck and cheers. George

Hi George - thanks for this. What do you mean by "completely different"? Is it the size of the fender? The configuration of the fender looks pretty much the same except for that vent hole?
