A change of direction in my future plans has made one of my project vehicles expendable. This truck was owned the the same family from 1963 until a neighbor bought it at there estate sale. He told me the truck was only used to haul Hay on the farm and to town to sell or deliver the hay. The Farm was in Arkansas and the weather was easy on this work truck.
Curently the truck is located in the storage lot at "American Gasser" here in Saginaw, MI. The paved lot is large enough that I have driven the truck around it many times with out any problems.
Sorry, I got so involved in the post that I forgot the price, it is: $4850.00 U.S.
The Original Motor is a 318 V-8, transmission is a 4 spd and the original rear end is a two speed model. Brakes are usable all around and ties are good. The low range rear serves (in my mind) like a creeper and high is just as a norman drivetrain would run with maybe a 4:88 gear (MY GUESS). Runs on the highwas but tops out at 50-55mph. The truck had an original stake bed on the back but that was replaced with a car hauler bed. Rear bed is 12' on level and has a 6' dove tail. Rear tailights have not been wired yet.
