Hi everybody, just recently picked up this 64 laurentian 4 door with a 283 and 2 speed. Needs a bit of love but all in all couldnt pass it up for the price. Enjoy :)
It has it's original '64 Canadian Pontiac dog dishes on it, and bonus on having the trim and emblems!

Seeing it in the snow like that reminds me of my childhood back in the 1960s. I'm sure there are pictures of the family going to Hamilton Golf & Country Club with the toboggan sticking out of our Biscayne, surrounded by Laurentians of that era all around the parking lot.
I've always loved the 64 Pontiacs as well. I remember looking seriously at a 64 Strato Chief sedan with a 230 3-speed manual back in 1979 as a possible first car. I ended up buying a nearly new Yamaha 125 instead.

Patrick, a hardy welcome aboard from Milton, Ontario. Nice looking original 64 Poncho you got there but we need more photos of your 64, especially of the 283 V-8 and the interior. Good luck with your 64 and cheers mate. George

Thanks everybody. I guess I should say I am from Elkford B.C. I picked the car up from a fella in Sparwood only half hour away. Rockys ride and glide is from Kimberly b.c. it was from two previous owners ago he owned the shop and used it as a billboard on wheels haha. I'm pretty happy with my pirchase so far. Like I said needs some love. Looking at getting seats redone and a solid tune up done. The old 283 has some blowby going on and carb seems to need some work. Also looking at swapping out the points ignition. Other than that I just want to cruise with the family. Can't really complain for 900$ :)
If that car had been closer to me it would have been in my driveway. I may have some correct color kick panels for you... I need to find some aqua ones for our wagon and you are welcome to our gold ones... No luck for me yet.... we are swapping our wagon from gold to aqua so I will keep you in mind if we have anything we don't need.
Sorry bout pics guys working on it fighting with my computer lol pics are coming I promise. Urban suburban I appreciate that. Where are you located? Jealous of the aqua interior :). Your cars look great by the way!
Thanks for the kind words. I am in Ontario but have some good fedex rates. I will have 4 saddle door panels available in the future. Seat upholstery needing minimal repair likely a full saddle dash pad and like I said if I can find Aqua kick panels some saddle ones. I know mine is Parisienne but I'll keep you in mind if you are interested. You can have a look through my wife's safari wagon thread to see pics of what the stuff looks like
Looks pretty well untouched, except for replacement parts (red heater hoses, fuel filter, etc.), spark plug shields are still there! Clock delete plate is cool!!!
