30 years old, 20,000km ... and I'm on the wrong side of the damn continent.

My second car was one of those. Not a Eurosport though.

It'd be a good daily driver but the price seems a little high...

Wow! I always loved the Celebrity wagons, especially the Eurosports. In 87 it was a tossup between one of these and an Astro cargo van. The Van won out. I ordered a no windows Cargo van with every option available, and the dealer was nervous that I'd change my mind and leave them with something unsaleable.
Those Europsort wagons were pretty nice. I'd love to own this one! A time capsule!

Its always difficult to judge value on these low low mileage survivors, practically new by the odomter. If it weren't for the Eurosport option I don't think this car would have any appeal at that price, but it may get someone talking to him.

Holy new Car....

This beautiful 30 year old wagon has only 20,290kms. on it. That's just over 12,000 original miles. 2.8 L V6,Cruise control, rear wiper/defrost, and air conditioning. It hasn't just sat in a heated garage and babied it was driven and very well maintained. The car is 99% the way you would have seen it on the showroom floor back in '86. You can almost smell the new car scent. The original paper sticker is still on the factory exhaust under the car and is readable. With collector plates you will save hundreds of dollars per year as well as having a reliable vehicle that will hold its value compared to similar priced cars. Must be seen to be appreciated it's a very nice wagon.

A beige low mileage POS for 6 and a half grand...about the best I can say about this car is it's not a K-car.

Sales of the Chevrolet Celebrity for the production run 1982 to 1990 were 2,224,094 cars and wagons. POS or not you'd have to admit that's a pretty successful run.

People buy cheap POS cars every day...that doesn't mean they are collectible, or cool, or worth anything. I'm sure the K car had similar sales, and I wouldn't pay $6500 for a K car in the same condition as the beige wagon, for the same reason. Both are "bic lighters". Cheap, effective, but disposable. It's just my opinion...

Actually ... does anyone know what the MSRP on this would have been?

After a bit of looking, seems like others agree with his pricing.

I liked the look of the 82-84 Eurosports better, black with the red accents, they even had Europort engraved on the mag wheels. Not a wagon fan for a so called sporty car. Sedan would be ok but i would guess the two door coupes are the rarest. The inside of these 80s Chevies are pure crap, i had an 81 Citation X11 and these are practically the same. Give me my 85 Firebird anyday over one of these.

I remember my first job at Eastown Chev in London. I got to take a brand new Eurosport to Niagara Falls with my friends. It was white with white trim and gold interior. Felt like a big shot!
