I found 1/8" and 1/4" tape (white and silver) on Amazon but can't find anything in the same line for the 3" part. I'd settle for 2.5" or 100mm (2.54") too, I'm not that picky.
Anyone know where I can buy the stuff?
Edit: I just ordered it from Vinylstriping.com, we'll see how it goes. They have standard and premium, but not in the 2" and 3", so I just went standard for everything. I ordered both 2" and 3" for the fat stripe, and assume I'll use the 3" but want to see it in person. Like the parts book says, I went white-silver-silver.

Any stripe shop should be able to set you up. When I had the stripes put on my 70 2+2 convertible they just used their hand held cutter and pulled the material through to make the appropriate widths.
I'm planning to install stripes on my 69 2+2, burgundy with silver two tone top. The color stripe I plan to use is the silver stripes with the white pin on top.
My question is when I look at the photos of the original stripes on the blue car in this thread it seems the main stripe varies in thickness; about 2 3/4" behind the door but only about 2 1/4" in the other photo, which I imagine is the rear of the quarter? Do they taper at the two ends of the car?
