There is no such thing as an RHD Bonneville, right? All RHD Pontiacs were built on Canadian chassis?

Factory would have the master cylinder switched to the right side wouldn't it?

Correct! Notice the brake booster still on the left hand side of the firewall. Only parisiennes and laurentians were available factory as CKD imports. Built using mandatory amount of australian content.

a new firewall stamping was installed at GMH which had all RHD holes for accessories, booster etc. this usually deleted AC and they fitted a hokey heater and fan on the LHS. Many parts from LHD did not fit RHD.

Eg for my car I used a standard floor shift column I scored off a mate. I had to modify a column indicator blanking plate slightly as the column was offset to the right and the blanking plate was for a LH column position which angled to the left...not a perfect fit but very passable

Something else is funny there. How can it have Chevy rally wheels on it? Don't the US full size Pontiacs use 5 on 5 wheels? Those wheels on that car should be 5 on 4.75".

Carl your right again, on the wheels, only thing I can think of is "truck rally wheels" or maybe full size Station wagon had a 5x5 pattern ?????

A few of those conversions came to NZ back in the day but I think they are all off the road now. Price is about right for here too.

I am told a SD would have had 2 4 barrels, that looks like a tri power. Best way to tell is the numbers.

S/D had 2 carter AFB's guess if you 'slap" on a couple of fender emblems it becomes a 421 S/D Tri power??

I have read they came out with a factory version in 1963 available in dual or tri carb option. if it was a factory super duty might be a reasonable buy.....maybe?

I think that is right, but the tripower wasn't a Super Duty. (or I could be wrong...)

Right, and the only Super Duty automatics were the Tempest coupes and wagons.

They combined two, rear mounted, 2 speed automatics to make one 4 speed Powershift automatic transaxle.

Thanks
Randy
