All I was doing was surfing the CL & K car ads looking for a pre 70"s car/project to run at the old time drags...
I found the 66 ad and decided that I just had to have it no matter the condition, thinking that in the worst case I should be able to make my money back
It's still on the trailer and I haven't had a chance to really look it over - but the body has been attacked by Pop & Rivet Bodyworks along with Mr. Bodyfiller & Electrolux applied grey-green primer... Quick look and Frame looks ok.
A buddy wants me to sell him some parts for an El Camino project...
Right now the dream (nightmare?) is to transform it into a driver/occasional 1/4 mile racer.
My question right now is: How rare is it? I've looked on line and I've only been able to find one other picture of a 66 Beaumont wagon...
Mine is a "Custom" with chrome trim from tip of front fenders to the tip of the rear quarters...the roof rack actually looks factory but againI haven't had a real close look at everything.
I will post pictures in a day or two - depending on the weather of course.
Right, pictures and what are your plans for it. Welcome from Kelowna.
x2 Welcome from Canada's east coast.

I now have to clean the garage so I can put it beside my 1957 BelAir 4dr Wagon (also a project)...seems no matter how big the garage mine is always full of non-car related stuff
I've found the Beaumont production thread as well as through internet searching but no numbers for the wagon... Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like total production for all 66's is 12,8xx ????
Just want to know if I should continue posting to this thread?
i cant find the numbers on this site but believe me when i tell you that wagoon is one rare ride,it will be one of around 350ish for sure someone here will find the correct 66 custom wagoon numbers for ya
Nice score, just needs a little message to bring her back to life and most of the trim is still there!!Rear 1/4 belt line trim on a wagon....will never find another one if you needed it!. If you make your pics smaller..... Carl (Grand Master) will just blow them back up.
