I'll be darned   Its a real auction...  He will have someone placing a bid for him

I ran a car up (I was mad) to 20,000 and was high bidder biggrin

Seller called me, and told me his buddy wanted the car..  He cancelled my bid, and it went to his buddy for 14g

Next car he advertised I did buy from him  (true story)

So you're saying your anger was short lived plus you really liked the second car too.

True story, a farmer bought a new model T car back in the 20's in Kincora PEI, brought it home and put it in the living room, the wife said, either the car goes or I go. She went. The farmer lived into his 80's or 90's and he used to drive the car into Summerside Saturday morning to go shopping. I used to see him driving it. After he died, the local Ford dealer, D. Alex MacDonald, bought the car and may still have it.

If you ever see an old guy in a lawn chair at a car show in PEI and he's from Kincora, ask him about it.

I've seen the car. I has been driven to car shows in Kensington PEI. Still going strong.
