Identical to my parents first car when we came to Canada in 1967. If I wasn't balls deep into my 57 2 door project I'd grab that one for sure...

Not to sound like a knob, but that document shown lists the car as red and with a 8 cyl. Ad says brown and 261 6 cyl.

Also, my understanding is that a 55-57 Safari was the American body style like the Nomads with the swept roof line etc......Maybe the Canadian model had a Safari badging?

I noticed the same discrepancies on the document red and 8 cylinder.....

he has an a ebay ad and he he says the car has the original 6.....?      http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Other-safari-/221960865172

I thought the same thing about the Safari/Nomad being the only real Safari wagon, but the Canadian Pathfinder did have a Safari script along with Pathfinder on the side.

This wagon is distinctive but it's because it's like the Chevy Handyman wagon which had 2 door sedan doors, and not like the Nomad, which had hardtop doors (not framed).

Looks to be the owners name was cut.........this document was registered on November 30 2015....wasn't in his hands very long

before he put  it up for sale on ebay, that ended on Dec 15 2015.....had a offer of $2000 then, but turned it down.

Again on ebay that ended on March 15,2016...high offer this time was $1300...doesn't look to have any takers at his price range.

Manitoba Public Insurance Transfer of Ownership Document

It seems a bit fishy that it would be cut out rather than just covered for the pic. I'd be a bit scared if I was buying a vehicle where the owner couldn't show me papers in his name.

Seems more like he is holding another piece of paper over that part, not that it's been cut out.

Ah, that makes sense. Good eye. I guess I need to start wearing my reading glasses more often!

You'd want to see pics of the vin and trim tags on that one, it doesn't look very red and V8 to me, car may not match title.

Sweet rare find in that 2 door 57 wagon. I wonder why in one photo going up the ramp, it has the drivers side headlight bezel assembly and in the other photo it does not. I wonder how rusty it is underneath. I love the colour combination on this 57. I only hope she goes to a good home and not a house of horrors. Cheers. George
