Almost ready to pull the engine in the CS. It's a 327. There is a white vacuum line connecting to the block behind the distributor on the drivers side. Don't remember seeing this before. Anyone know what it's for?

Oil pressure line for manual gauge. Does it run inside the car to a gauge?

If you are going to re-install use a copper line. Those plastic ones will melt if they touch anything hot and also wear through. Had 1 go on the inside of my car once,what a mess!!!!

Plus one on copper and don't forget to put a few coils in it between the engine and the firewall to absorb the engine shake.

Be careful with copper as it transmits heat extremely well. Keep it away from anything that does not like heat, particularly wiring...
