Ashmore was in Winnipeg for a whirlwind tour yesterday. I picked him up at the airport hotel last night at suppertime. We had a fun evening doing some prairie touring. We first stopped at Beaumontguru's house for a brief visit so Dave and Randy could meet. Then we headed to Morris to experience a George's burger and fries, something a guy has to do in Manitoba! A quick check on our new home construction site, a brief tour of my shed, garage, basement and then I had to drop him off at the airport so he could catch his flight home today.

Thanks Randy for letting me know you were in town. It sure was a fun evening for me at least!
