Original millage 56,000 milles. Fully equipped: tinted glass, power windows, air conditioning, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, 6 ways electric seat, original 8 tracks-radio cassette player etc... GT model option W34. This model has been produced only one year in 1970. Only 5341 were manufactured. Perfect condition (inside- outside and under) never goes out in winter and not often in summer. Only one owner since 1970. Sales contract to prove it and the factory installed options and accessories data sheet from GM. Ready to roll and it is real head turner.
Nice one Todd, never heard of a GT model. Dad sold a 68 to a doctor in Tyne Valley, he was English and liked his FWD mini so he upgraded. He loved to get an emergency call so he could speed to it in the Olds, it likely had the 425.

1968 up would be a 455. I'm going to get picky here but the car should have 442 exhaust tips. There has a guy on Bostick road in London who a back yard of early Toro's

I have never driven one of these front wheel drive behemoths before be it caddy, olds whatever. Honestly, what are they like to drive? Imagine lighting up the front wheels would be pretty easy.....

The FWD was in a heavy front end car and the Olds motors were not as big on low end torque as the Chevy BB's, but lots of top end. Not at all like say a 250+ HP FWD small car today.
There was a 60's Cutlass built with twin 455's, 4WD, one motor in the backseat, I can't seem to find a pic of it doing a burnout.

I own one a 67, they drive like a dream, mine has done over 20 trips to Florida, South Carolina even out West. Not bad on gas 3.23 gears and a turbo 400.
That is a great 67. I tell people all the time how some of these old carbed cars are better on fuel, than new suv's and mini vans. Don

I have known of the 1970 Toronado GT since the cars were new, yet this is the first one I have ever seen! They are subtle.
For 1968 the mainstream Toros went with single exhaust & un-notched rear bumper unless it had the W-34 option.
Back in those days Oldsmobile had a reason to be, and the Toronado was one of several reasons.
What is interesting is that from 66- 70 the Oldsmobile Toronado & Buick Riviera shared much of the same body structure, yet the Toro was FWD while the Riv was RWD. Through the magic of subframes and a flat tunnel vs. a hump they were able to share a surprising amount of body structure, all things considered.

I think so. The version I have was rebuilt in the mid nineties by the Explorer van company so it got a bunch of updates to make it look more contemporary, including the square headlights, larger taillights and a boatload of other upgrades. Mine was one of about 30 that got that treatment and one of about 4 or 5 23 footers.
The picture is from the site where i bought it so that why it has SOLD stamped all over it. i haven't sold mine.
