1967 Beaumont - SOLD

Here's a 1967 Beaumont for sale locally in Thunder Bay.  It is not my car, I just saw the ad and called the guy.  Apparently it was a small block auto on the column.  The engine and tranny are gone.  It has no SD markings anywhere so it likely is not an SD.  He said he wants around 10K.  The car is supposedly completely except for the drivetrain.  He said the interior needs to be redone and the body has some surface rust but is solid.  I live about an hour from him but wouldn't mind going to look at it and get pics for anyone if my gas is paid for.

Great potential...but...... no drive train, interior needing work, body and paint job required.......

I'd say $10,000 is twice what he should be asking.

I thought it was high as well, especially not being a SD. But I've been out of the market for a while so I wasn't sure.

Here's what you can get for cheap....not a 2 door hardtop.............rare 4 door hardtop

But good value for the asking price.

http://vancouver.canadianlisted.com/cars/1967-beaumont-4-dr-hardtop-2400-van_2621793.html

1967 Beaumont 4 dr hardtop - $2400 (van)

1967 Beaumont 4 dr hardtop - $2400 (van) in Vancouver, British Columbia

Great project car! All original 327- V8, 2 speed powerglide, rough shape (not beat), last ran 3 years ago then carb seized,

little dents but no frame altering collisions.solid frame, some rust on body.

EASY RESTORATION project. Must sell, or it gets parked outside.Lots of extras : parts, manuals and cover. 2400 is lowest I will go.

Well someone bought it. I wonder how close to the 10K it got? Being in northern Ontario, solid projects are hard to find so maybe someone ponied up the cash??  When I talked to him this afternoon, he was getting calls from Edmonton, Calgary, BC, etc so there was lots of interest.

Interesting     no driveline no interior and some rust     should be a easy fix    just throw 40,000.00 at it and you have a 50,000.00 car worth 30  lol

Yes, but their not making them anymore. If that's what you want and you can afford it then at least you finally have one. For some people the car is for their pleasure, and not an investment.

Put it in perspective, if you're going to put $40k in or more....then starting at $6k or $8 ,or $9k isn't the deal breaker in the total investment. Solid body can save thousands.... $10k though sounds steep, when we've seen some clean fully restored 67s for as little as $16 and into the $20s
