I'm sure there is varying opinions on restorations and whether or not to use window decals. My old Laurentian had a barely visible Parks Canada decal on it. I sent an image of the decal to an online printer and, voila, they reproduced it for $12.00! Oh and that was for 8 of them:) anyone interested in a 1960 decal, let me know; I'll part with a few. Cheers!

I had a perfect condition unused 1972 National Parks decal and sold it on ebay for about $130 US. I then bought an unused but shelf worn 1970 National Parks decal for $100 Cdn that I was going to display on my 1970 cars, but abandoned that idea. I sold it for what I paid for it.
Going the reproduction idea would have been a lot cheaper.
We would have had a bunch of different ones on the family car over the years. We had been all over North America back in the day. Yellowstone. Banff. When we went to Whistler in 1970 there wasn't much there except for a gondola and a gravel parking lot. When we returned to the car, all cars in the lot had a Whistler B.C. bumper sticker plastered onto their cars.
Funny story, but dad did a lot of work for the local Conservation Authority so he had a pass to Valens Conservation Area. One year approaching Christmas time the Manager called up dad because they were going to clear out a few trees. You should have seen the knife-like looks we got while driving out of the conservation area with a free Christmas tree on the roof.
I still have an old VON (Victoria Order Nurse) sticker on my 67 from when my aunt was a VON (she's been gone for 31 years).

done correctly they would absolutely add to the "look" of a correctly done car...
(sorry for the two-year bump, I couldn't help myself)

I actuall Had a number of them reproduced since my OP a few years back, from 40s to 80s. The 63, as in your photo, came with a beaver as well. I have that one in my stash.
Cool! Next old car I get, I'll buy one from you for whatever year the car is, if you still have any by then... it's been a while, but it's gonna happen one of these years.
Yes, a few years had beaver and elk etc. I have Most of the years now and resell them.
Rodney,
Do you have a '64 beaver ... if so, please let me know the price and how to order in a PM.
Thanks, Darryl.
