I am selling for my father a 1976 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham. It is in all original condition and all original parts. It has been lovingly cared for since my dad bought it new 40 years ago in 1976. The car has been stored and only driven in good weather for the past 38 yrs. It has only 31,140 kms on it. The interior is black cloth with no tears. Has am/fm radio and A/C. Runs great
It looks to be in pretty much perfect condition. It doesn't say but I believe the engine is the base 350 2-barrel. Mileage is still in miles on a 76, but 31,000 miles is paltry,

I don't judge a man by how far he's fallen, but by how far back he bounces - Patton
That is a beautiful example, triple black is awesome. I 'd think a car that optioned out would have more than the base power train, I'd hope it is the 400 which I believe is the small block in a Parisienne or at least the 350 4bbl.
Nice colour combo. Even I like this car (which says a lot ). Not my era of cars.

Is that rust in the trunk on the wheel tubs or some sort of rustproofing?
Looks like it could be leaking at the rear windshield. Trunk mat looks like it might have some staining as well. Would want to have a look under the mat to be sure.

Yep, rust. Check down in the rear quarter pockets also.

Yeah, definitely not an 11K car IMHO. Looks nice otherwise, but potential quarter rust panel repair significantly diminishes the appeal.
I really like this one. A nice dual exhaust is about all I'd do to it.
In 1976 the 454 Caprice did come with a dual exhaust setup. With the advent of catalytic converters in 1975 duals as we knew them ceased to exist but the 454 Caprice set up was dual to the converter then dual out. It was a large flange on a Y pipe and the mufflers hung in the tradition place under the rear floor ahead of the axle. This piece was easy to obtain from Midas or the delaer back then and I converted a few cars while maintaining proper pollution control equipment in place. We did a 75 Olds Cutlass Salon, a 76 Grand Lemans and a 76 Buick Park Avenue. That piece would surely work on the Parisienne.
I suppose someone could build a nice custom dual exhaust system using a pair of high flow cats to keep it legal
Its too old for a E-test cut it (cat) off and sell to scrapper for 100.00
E-test not required but law is unchanged sine 1975 when converters were introduced. All original emission equipment must be in place, I even doubt that double Cats is permissible.
