A Sport Sedan in the midst of a rotisserie restoration. He must be desperate to sell to do such a thing. The question is, how solid is it, how much of the hard work is complete, and how much original stuff is reusable (upholstery etc). As it is a 4-door hardtop there is a limit to the value of the finished product, and picking up a project mid-stream without knowing if all the parts are there is a bit of a gamble. I sympathize with the seller but I think he will have a tough time selling at that price.
Having said that, a restoration is usually undertaken for the love of the car, not the return on investment (try convincing your wife of that). Bless him for trying to save it. Beaumont Sport Sedans are a rare sight today.
