Bought from original owner 4 dr. Hard top. Hard to find a body in this nice of condition. Interior is in mint condition. Car runs and drives great. Has cruise, pdl, pw, cable op. Mirrors, 8 track player. Power trunk release. Not safetied. Nice cruiser or use the low mile 400ci powertrain for your project.
$2500 obo or interesting trades of equal or more value. Not sure what it needs for safety but front end and brakes seem really tight. Is a small exhaust leak on donut where manifold and down pipe meet. And yes, it is still available

That's what makes me cry.

By 76 the Bonneville was second fiddle to the Bonneville Brougham which had the 400 4bbl standard, alas the regular Bonny got 400 2 bbl power standard.

This is really quite the ride, black velour, 8 track and AC! Looks pretty original. Imagine melting miles down the highway in the day with this beaut.

I like that... Tint the windows and some nice new 1-1/4" white walls and some pmd's and I would cruise mafia style

I always look at these cars as being the pinnacle of GM doing what it did best - making big, comfortable highway cruisers.  For the next 4 decades they would struggle to try to reconfigure to meet the world that changed while they were looking the other way.

I don't see it as a mafia car - they would have preferred Lincolns or Caddys... a Pontiac wouldn't have had the status they require.

Given the triple black, it could have been a family car at a funeral home, though.

Yup, melt the miles away in complete isolation from the rough road passing under your wheels.  You can't find anything that rides like that in the new cars out there today.

Actually Pontiacs were often preferred:

"When Hoffa did not return home that evening, his wife then reported him missing. Police found Hoffa's dark green 1974 Pontiac Grand Ville, unlocked, at the restaurant, but there was no sign of Hoffa or any indication of what happened to him" (From wiki)

And from Goodfellas:

And from 7UP's

Kinda funny you're talking mafia cars. My parents took the whole family on a road trip in our '76 Bonneville brougham 2dr, from winnipeg to NY to visit our "made" family friends in NYC. They probably knew Hoffa, but my cousins had two limos and lots of hired help! They did not drive Pontiacs. I was only 12 but no one asked for my ID when we went to night clubs and restaurants in little Italy, everything was on the house!
It was quite an experience for a kid from the north end!
