Headlight question

Hi guys. I am weeks away from finally getting my '66 GP on the road. I have a question about my headlights. I attached a picture of one.

Do I need new headlights, or just this metal pot behind it?

The metal bucket/pot.

Be careful taking off the stainless outer trim ring, the screws holding them on are usually seized and "tabs" are fragile

Thanks! Would these be matching Chev's like the chassis do on these cars? Need to check locally.

Yep.

All GM's would be the same, so you can source from Chev, Pontiac, Olds, Buick, Cadillac & GMC trucks.

One point to note is that high and low are different.  I've also been looking for some low beam replacements, as well as the springs.

Ouch! You should be able to find those at the wreckers or from someone on here.

So it looks like you need it for a high beam headlight.  Do you need all 4, or just the high beams, etc?  Where are you located?  I'm pretty sure I have some and can help you out.

I grabbed a couple headlight panels out of my rafters, and all 4 have decent headlight buckets.  I also have the trim rings if need be.  All 4 buckets look to be the same to me, but I realized that as both headlight panels are for the passenger side, I should check versus my drivers side.   Yes, the drivers side are similar but reverse, meaning the adjustment screws are on the other side (towards the outside of the car).   I do have a spare drivers side headlight panel and the buckets are in good shape, so could provide 2 passenger side and 2 drivers side buckets.   PM sent.
