I'm always leery of ads that say they got part way thru a project and can't see it thru. Did they do something that is too expensive to redo or did they do something wrong and now just want to unload it?
Not saying this is always the case but the red flags should sure go up.

True in some cases, but a lot of project cars for sale around here. Think a lot of guys don't realize the amount of time, effort and $$$ that it takes to do a complete teardown/rebuild or restoration. Think a lot of the project cars for sale are loss of intrest (taking too long)or lack of funds.

 Oh, how true.

But somehow even if they don't know what they have they sure know enough to ask top dollar.

I must admit I am quite taken by the upholstery (I assume it is original fabric and design)

Wish someone did repro for 64 Beaumont ...

Dave

I hate to disappoint you.........but it's not even CLOSE  to correct....for the car

The pleat pattern in the seats looks a bit lemans/gto-ish

From a purists perspective.....it's pretty much impossible to top the original 64 Custom Sport interior...it just doesn't get any better...

I don't know ANYTHING about A-bodys...but always assumed the upholstery was "off the rack"...Lemans...from America.

Did you try Legendary?......I know they recently released a Pontiac A-body line......and heard their stuff is topnotch...
