Car has been for sale forever. Some elderly gentleman (Loose interpretation of the term) on the lower mainland owns it. Talked to him about the car months ago & he told me he wouldn't sell it to anyone from Alberta since we were all a**holes; his words not mine.

What does he mean by "Lower Mainland"? Is there an island somewhere in Alberta I don't know about that has hay wagons?

LOL, I hadn't even noticed that...

I did notice though when I went to Team Chevelle that he's been absent there for 3 months now.

Might have something to do with the "Loctite on brake line fittings" discussion there!

That is a curious ad for sure.

Hopefully nobody expects it to be a factory tilt wheel, factory AM/FM, reverb, 8-track car because it couldn't be. I wouldn't normally be critical, but after making such a point about the rare original upholstery on the rear seat, why then did he use a 1967 Chevelle front seat cover? Regardless it looks like it could be a solid car that is worth taking a look at. I didn't see a fender emblem so I am assuming the engine is a 194. The engine looks like it is the correct engine and all the hardware is on it (Barrel fuel pump, Canadian silver zinc  coil, non-script valve cover, orange filler cap).

I guess the point is, ads can be entertaining as can be the sellers, but the car is what needs to do the talking. We the potential buyers can be annoying as well...

Whoever gets the car would be well advised to flush out the brake lines for contaminants (Loctite, etc.) biggrin
