So the wifey wants to go on a little road trip around the island. I know quite a few guys on the site are from the area. I am looking for fun things to do this time a year and cool things to see. Everyone here tells me to head to Tofino? I usually prefer off the beaten path. We are throwing in some camping gear so any nice spots I should know about?
Ps- looking for some older (1990's) husky saw parts. Hard to find on the bald prairie Lol. Thanks in advance, local knowledge is best.

Had a great trip. Drove Victoria to tofino. Enjoyed the port alberni area, toured the mclean mill,it was interesting. Stayed at stamp river. Great watching the salmon run. Hippies/ euro tourists at large in tofino, stayed about 5 mins. Did not have time for the saw parts cathedral grove was nice. How much old growth is left on the island? The drive drive from jasper home was scary. Lots of snow in some stretches.
