1980 Parisienne

A general question for all but with Carl Stevenson as a recommended experienced source.  I am working with Dave Dawson (Double D) who is helping me with finding parts for my 1980.  He has taillights and a grill for a 1981 and is not completely sure they will fit on my 1980.  Can anyone lend their knowledge on this point?

As far as the grill is concerned I don't believe they are the same. The photo on the left below is a 1980, the one on the right is an 81. However if an 81 fits into a n 80 I'm not 100% sure.

Wow, I'm feeling the pressure here!

I may disappoint you with my "not sure" type answer, but here goes.

As Leo said, the grilles are not the same but when I look up all the parts around the grille in the parts book they are all identical between the 2 years so I am betting the grilles physically interchange, they just don't look the same.

I suspect the tailights won't fit as the housing is a different part number for each of those 2 years. The only way to know for sure is to physically try it though.

If you need a translation ... he's parting out the car, everything except engine. Make an offer.

Cheers,
