1977 Grand Prix model LJ. Well optioned including the Pontiac 350 / 4 Barrel engine. This is an unrestored, original car showing 10800 miles.Even the tires are the factory Goodyear Custom Tread G78 x 15 radials. Tread depth is excellent. However the steel belts are separating. The interior is immaculate. There is no sun fading. The original paint is also in beautiful condition. There are a few scattered tiny chips consistent with the mileage. Stainless and bright work are outstanding. There is some light wear to the back of the wheel opening moldings as well as to the rocker trim. The original owners warranty card as well as the glove box package is included and appears to be complete. Deficiencies include the second hand has broken off the clock, there is a chip in the glass of the outside passengers mirror, and a small indentation in the padded dash. I am confident that this is one of the finest original untouched Grand prix's left.

My father bought one, brand new, almost identical. Same colour scheme. Dad's had wire wheel covers and vinyl seats. Sold it at auction in 2003 after he passed. It had 60k on the odometer. I think we got $500 for it. The buyer got a heck of a deal. Saw it 6 months later. Completely trashed.

 cryno

That scenario has been repeated too many times on too many G-3s.

Funny,  my dad took me to CITY Buick Pontiac where he test drove a new 77 Grand Prix, off Victoria Park there is a long up hill climb along  the railway tracks behind the dealership. Dad says to the salesmen riding shotgun, "Does it come with a V8" ? I believe that was the first year for the Pontiac 350 in a Grand Prix and according to dad it was gutless in that heavy car with a highway gear climbing a hill.  Ended up buying an Oshawa built Grand LeMans with a Chevy 350. Not sure how much better that was but it had no trouble passing 10 or so cars on HWY 400 ext. near Moonstone on runs to the cottage. The Grand LeMans had an identical dash as the Grand Prix.
