Every once in a while a Bricklin comes up for sale. It's not surprising they come up mostly in NB since they were built there. This is about the cheapest runner I've seen.
I always thought they were cool cars but never liked the powertrain choices.
I was at a restaurant in Winnipeg a few years back and 3 of them were parked side by side. And as you can guess, it looked like they couldn't all get into their car at the same time! (Might just have been an illusion though...)

Tooooo late! Way less than a normal car door and just think.....no more parking lot dings!!!
Despite the common misconception that the gull-wing doors are mere stylistic affectations, the design is a very practical one in a tight urban parking space. When properly designed and counterbalanced, they require little side-clearance to open (about 27.5 cm, or 11" in the DeLorean[4])

I saw a show about a dozen years ago about the car, and they talked to one of the engineers who continued to work through some of the challenges the original cars had. It took him a long time, but he perfected everything, including getting those darn doors to stay up without the use of a broomstick.

Only worked for a while........looks like the broom is back in!
I always found that the Bricklins seemed very cheaply put together, almost like a kit car. The interior fabrics were also very 70s. The car is also too narrow and that gives it a weird proportion.

They were 70's quality of body and interior, not great and lesser than 60's cars IMHO. The Bricklin with the 351 and likely the AMC motor, had a better drivetrain than the Delorean, which was a Renault. I think the doors were air powered.
