I am guessing but I would bet that any model with a V8 could have been ordered with a tach?

Anyone?

what makes you say it s a G T O Carl besides the tach ?

The gauges weren't available in Beaumonts until 1968.

And as you know, the Beaumont tach looks different, short sweep vs. the GTO 270 degree sweep tach in the picture. Only the 64 GTO had the short sweep tach (identical to Beaumont)

That's a GTO factory tach Carl. I'm not sure if it's 66 or 67 though. I'm sure someone here will be able to identify it.

interesting   it "looked to me like a old Sun tach"     still think its in the wrong spot
