I road tested a very nice one for 73SC when he was shopping for one. For a front drive, which I've opposed my whole life, I liked it.
Yes thank you Carl for that but at $13,800 and 148,000 KM the value just wasn't there for me. I had just lost on one with 100,000 km at $4,900 in Barrie.
Geez that's a LUCERNE CXS, same car I bought for $8300 4 years a go with 68,000 km. He's right it is a Cadillac with a Buick crest, made side by side with the old DTS.
This car is no comparator to the Allure Super which is an austre and cheaply finished automobile, both have 300ish HP V8, the Allure is quicker by virtue of size but the Lucerne has such elegant and sophisticated appointments and power train. I don't necessary like the styling of either but at $6,000 that's a no brainier for a V8 loving Boomer. Check the front inner fenders for rust and rear wheel wheels too, its still an old car low kms or not. WARNING these are a bitch to work on so be prepared for high maintenance costs. These 4 holers are rare to see in any condition though, its a nice ride.
