Wow, I love it. What a beauty.

I know it may seem like lots of money but if that's a solid original car that's a rare car.

Looks really SOLID.....I see some engine upgrades....HEI,alternator and oil filter.....

Best to start with something that's not got a cheap paint job....over BAD body work....

Detail it and DRIVE it.....like a REAL car....smile

As it shows in the ad.....This 61 Parisienne will attract MORE attention at a car show....than one that's all pimped out and painted....

I'd prolly drop in a stock looking 327......with some stealth horsepower....and some period correct engine accessories....(that does NOT mean furry dice OR skirts...)

We don't see many 61s around especially an upscale model in nice shape.
Enjoy it as it is.

Not ALL original paint. Is it actually worth $9,000.00?

As far as value goes......it's only worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it......EASILY worth $7500.......I say......if it doesn't need any major welding....

It prolly needs floor braces.....and the rear quarters look to have been painted.....so that tells us that it's likely had some work done there...

Not sure if we have production #'s on 61 HT's...but I'm sure they are WAY lower than 64's........(and almost as cool)

I don't recall seeing an unmolested driver this clean (bodywise) before......

Update......Seems I have this backwards....appears that the front clip has been painted....as it is shinier than the rest of the body....

I got an email response

the person posting the add is doing so for someone else,

he didnt know the condition of the floor, frame, braces, ect, or the history of the car, if its local or a western car

Well, then it won't sell for no where near 12Gs (half). Too bad the owner didn't give the person who put the ad up a bit of info. no

Exactly. Everyone will have the same questions when they inquire.

Sounds like a road trip. Either a winning trip or a waste of time.
