Agree.......Don't start painting/detailing.......that's the TOP of a slippery slope into MONEY PIT.....and then it won't be original anymore...

 .......they're only original once.......BIG decision.....I have purposely NOT restored our Beaumont except for

necessary repairs and the reaction it gets at cruises is very positive to leave it original. We did buff out the paint

a few years back to make it presentable and that caused me to replace the pitted and broken emblems ($1000.) but

that is it. I may pull the eng/trans just to clean up oil leaks etc but no rebuild.
