Thinking about getting modern rims for my other car, '70 Mustang. The newer wheels are off a '14 Mustang and would need spacers between 1-1/2 and 2 to fit.
I've never used spacers and I'm curious to hear what I'm i should be aware of.
I believe they are now illegal in Ontario. The expert lawmakers said so because they are all brilliant automotive engineers.
Seriously, check local laws and have your alibi ready. Run them, play dumb, and don't have them in place during a safety.
If I were you and were going to run them, I would go as thin as I could get away with. I would also consider stronger wheel studs because of the leverage.
