Just purchased a 700R4 trans out of a '91 Safari with 150,000k on it. I have never done a trans before but am willing to give it a try.
Advice needed at this point, so, first question is where can I find instructions and videos on "how to" go about rebuilding the tranny.
I have been told that the tranny will need a shift kit put is as well as a minimum 2500 stall converter.
The car it will be going into is a 1964 CS. The engine will be a 350 with +400hp.
There you have it. This is all I know at this point. Any and all experienced and/or knowledgeable advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated to get me started.
