I feel l like I should get one even though I don't have a Poncho!
When I had my Laurentian the fuel tank sending units were still available from GM

When I think back to what I've got new from GM over the years.....

70 GS grille and GSX spoiler

65 Chevelle L79 intake

66 Nova SS trunk plate (These bring over $2000 US now for NOS)

66 Grande Parisienne steering wheel and clock

66 Nova bumper guards

66 Nova 1/4 panel and front fenders

65 Acadian front fenders

66 396 Chevelle fuel tank sending unit

There's lots more neat stuff I'm forgetting.

First of all I'm not scamming anyone -
Second I was not aware this is still available.

Another thing that was still available not long ago was the 4 speed shift boot for either Nova or Chevelle (I forget which, maybe even both) from the late 60's/early 70's. Who would have guessed you could still buy stuff like that new almost 50 years later.

The L79 cam was available for a long time too but I think it finally was removed.

I remember spending many a lunch hour at the GM dealership I worked at in the late 80's going through parts books and keying in part numbers to see what was still available. I got Buick GS Stage 1 emblems, the ram air cleaner foam and other bits. I didn't have a Poncho back then but I remember seeing a lot of good parts still available for the '69 Pontiac. 1970 Buick GS grills were still available. I understand Year One bought eventually bought all the remaining inventory. I also remember a mechanic ordering fenders for his 69 Chevelle and a pair showed up 3 months later!

One of our techs at the Pontiac dealership bought one of those Stage I emblems too, and stuck it on his tool box!

Not long ago you could still buy the original V8 67 and older Acadian/Nova oil pan, oil pump, pickup tube as well.

Forgot about this so I dug up this old post.  Do you still have a bracket available?  Would you happen to have a cap as well?

My original 54 year old one is still in fine shape, but the hose is swollen & cracked at that end (the rest is still good, even up by the squirters).

I hear you on the old plastic. It wasn't fully stable and can get brittle on the shelf. I threw out a barely-used 1957 Devilbis tabletop humidifier because it just crumbled one day when I looked at it. You have to rub it with baby oil & talk to it nicely every day wink
