Bad start

Last sunday I tried to have the first ride of the year

The engine start but a lot of oil transmission came out and slpash on the starter

Somebody told me it was surely the torque seal

Two days later I'll tried to start the car and now nothing works.

To you think that my starter is dead

If yes where can I find a new one

Thanks no

Powerglide burp common problem with the cast iron powerglide. The fluid most likely came from the dipstick tube.Pull the headlight switch and see if you have power to the headlights. If you do clean the starter and solonoid switch and jump the switch from the battery connection to one of the small terminals and see if it turns over. Make sure the transmission is in neutral with the emergency brake on. If it turns over than try it with the key. You may have to remove the starter and bench test it after you clean all the oil from it.
