WTB: 239 L6 exhaust

Just seeing if by chance someone has a usable exhaust system for a 239 flathead six?

best bet is to just get a muffler shop to bend it up for you.The 54 chevies used the 216 inline six and the manifold is on the drivers side.So if you order an exhaust kit for a chevy you can only use the muffler and tailpipe not the front pipe as ours comes off the passengers side.Any competent muffler shop can do it up,think mine was around the 300.00 mark.

Brian I went to the local muffler shop here to see what it would cost and he told me with a Walker muffler run from the manifold out to the back with 2.5" pipe it would be about $650. I just thought that deemed high but then again I haven't had any exhaust work done in a long time. Will check out a few others be fore I pull the trigger.

That seems a little steep!!! I had mine redone from the manifold all the back, (and they repaired the studs in the manifold) for $280 about 3 years ago. Went to a local non-brand name shop, and let him do it on his time - no rush. It was a no-tax special as well if you know what I mean :)
I'd do a little more shopping around.
Cheers
