69 beaumont dash

I have an opportunity to purchase a absolutely mint complete dash for a 69 beaumont. I know this is a hard

to find item, so was looking for some input as to a fair price to offer.  To have an old one repaired by Just Dashes

in California can be as much as $2000 US. A dash cap is in the $200 range. Uncracked originals don't seem to come up for sale. Any and all comments are much appreciated.

Thanks Stan

One thing to check Stan is that it is not dried our and brittle. I sold one a few years ago that was perfect but while I was packing it my thumb cracked the corner and I lost the sale. The other thing is to make sure it's not for a 4 door, wagon or post with no vents, still hard to find but not as desirable. Colour may affect the price as well but typically everything original would need dyed anways. Black is usually preferred and would command a better price.
If it still soft and not cracked, with the glovebox door, etc I would expect to pay $1000 or more. The last mint one I had 10 years ago sold for $700. Back then the cost of getting it recovered was $900.
If you don't buy it let me know. :)

Also, the 1969 Beaumont and GTO share the same dash pad and instrument cluster. Easier and more plentiful when searching the GTO/LeMans.

I used a 69 Beaumont harness to replace the burnt harness in my 69 GTO. There are a few differences in the wiring harness mostly in the colour of some of the wires.

Best of success in your dash search.
