Spotted this at the PoCo street show yesterday.....

This is one of the coolest 50's Canadian Pontiac's I've seen.....

What's the story with the feed bags on the front bumper?

They are actually desert water bags.......Pretty common on southwest/western cars on the highway in the 40's and 50's....before Ice chests and water jugs for camping became common/popular..

Here's one of mine....

 That was one of the first things I noticed under the hood.....

Prolly an old wives tale.......they are put there to prevent vapor lock...on a hot day....

 My FIRST car....when I was 13....was a 52 chev sedan delivery  (former ambulance)......

Just dragged this 54 Oshawa built SD home last year...(45 years later)....apparently one of 1400 built that year

That's original paint AND upholstery.....95% complete and is supposed to run....
