I was talking to Day to a friend at Church.  It turns out he used to be the owner of a 1968 Beaumont.  He sold it around 1988 in North Vancouver for $500!  It originally belong to his aunt and then his mother before Doug.  It was a maroon  two door hardtop with D99 roof trim and a meant black launch seat interior.  The story I heard was that the original 307 engine block cracked and he put in a 283  but couldn't get it to line up with the existing  automatic transmission.  I guess being newly married he didn't have the money or storage for the car.  I thought it might be kind of neat to track that car down. Does anyone know The whereabouts? Does this car sound familiar to anyone out there?  Please let me know if you have any information on it. Thank you.
