well i got called out to a 2 week shutdown in peace river alta and i just got home for my brothers 50th birthday after 43 days of 14 hour days i fly back tomorrow for 2 more weks of wrapup work power boiler blew up in their pulp mill no time for much else nice to be home for a couple of nights but back to the cold friday minis 20 driving to grande prairie and landed in comox plus 8 and sunny felt like hawaii!

Happy to hear everything is OK.  Work is good as long as you can walk away from it at some point.  I did my fair share of 10-12 hour days until I was 54, then I started working for myself and I'm a pretty easy guy to work for with great benefits, lots of time off but I never mastered padding myself on the back.

Went up to CR today..hwy flooded everywhere and down poured. 3 hydroplane accidents,was doing 110(limit 120) past Parksville and guys blowing by me at 140!!no
