I'm throwing this out there as I need to lower my inventory of vehicles and would really like to find this car a new home.
Original Saskatchewan car sold through Saskatoon when new and lived its life in the Kelvington area.
- 250hp 350 SBC
- TH350
- Power Steering
- Power Brakes
- AM Radio
The car has never been repainted or had body work done and has patina some hail dents and minor rust. The seats have covers on them and are decent to sit on but the material is done. The carpet and headliner have been replaced. I currently have the car licensed as an antique and have enjoyed it as a summer car. It rides on the original spiral shocks and I suspect the entire suspension to be oem. The engine was removed cleaned and received a fresh coat of paint as well as an aluminum intake, quadrajet, mild cam and headers with dual exhaust.
For the price noted the car will be sold with plain14" steel wheels (no hubcaps). The custom wheels are not included.
Feel free to coment and/or ask more about the car.
When I was a punk kid not even out of high school my "best friend/brother from another mother" had a 69 Parisienne just like this one. Same color, interior, and everything. He was hell on that poor car, but it always seemed to ask for more. The end for it came when he missed a switchback coming down Mt Baker in Washington state and messed up the front end a fair bit. He kept driving it for months later, even after the TH350 lost reverse. The funniest story for us when we think back to our younger days was when Maple Ridge RCMP pulled him over because the poor car looked like such a wreck (it was). The constable informed my buddy Stan he was going to do a roadside safety inspection. This was after Mt Baker, and the front end damage was probably mostly cosmetic, but his headlights were definitely not aimed right anymore. They did work though, as did every other light, horn etc. What didn't work? reverse, and the emergency brake. Stan was really sweating things.
The cop finally gets to the E-brake test and tells Stan to engage the park brake, so he does. The cop tells Stan to put it in reverse, so Stan does and the car doesn't move an inch. LOL. The cop then tells Stan to give it some gas in reverse and don't be shy. Stan womps the gas hard in reverse...and the car doesn't budge an inch.
Stan is dying inside trying to keep a straight face. Finally the cop has nothing left to check, hands Stan his license and reg back and says "This is the most mechanically sound piece of crap I've ever pulled over..."
Sadly that particular 69 was retired a few weeks later, and was replaced with a gold 69 Parisienne that has at least as many stories.
I'll have to show Stan this ad, I have a feeling he'd love his "first car" back again and would definitely treat it better than the first one.

WE . should do a fund raiser for this and have shipped to TODD no charge . I think he would think it was Bee tiful and a Honey of a gift
Really hope you find a home for this in the Canadian Poncho community.
One thing about original paint cars is that you know what is there - no hidden bondo or scary repairs waiting to be found. This honestly looks like a lot of car for the money and a great car to build on, or just enjoy with its patina showing.
I have a general question about the Endura nose piece on the '69s. Are they able to be fixed? I see a lot of them with the paint off them and I assume that the rubberized stuff has deteriorated.
I'm partial to green. Had number of cars painted various hues of green over the years. My 70 GTO was verdoro green and my previous 69 Camaro was Rally green to mention my two favourite cars from the past.

Just kidding. Green in the right combo looks pretty respectable. I had a parts 69 in Limelight on green. Nice colour. Shame whenever I look back at those pictures. That car had zero rust. Should have repaired it.

Yup, I like green as well. Therefore it's the best colour!
