Coming along nicely! Do you plan on doing a seat recover eventually? That pattern is wild.

Eventually, yes, I will. But not for the time being, as I would expect it to be super expensive. Plus, even though you can see some brand new stuff in there, I am still wanting not to overrestore it and I am basically making it safe, solid and reliable, while replacing what i really have to because it does not work or is just too damaged or dirty to use. The original package shelf and the carpet that was in it, for example, were moldy and very filthy, so I had to replace them.

Looking very good! Thanks for sharing. Love the mix of looks and drivability, not a trailer queen

 Good idea!

last weekend, a guy called me to offer old car brochures he had just found, and among them was this French version of the Canadian 59 Pontiac deluxe brochure and inserted in it was a price list from a Quebec dealership. I calculated that my car would have cost 4257 $ in 1959.

According to the Bank of Canada Inflation calculator $4257 in 1959 equals $36866.18 in 2018 Loonies.

Here comes summer!
Windows down all the way, tunes cranked and wind blowing your hair and in your eyes.

What a summer romance.

Great work, been following this thread. Amazing the amount of quality work that has gone into this baby.

Does the GMVVS data include the shipped to dealer for 1959s?

Couldn't agree more! Great job you have done on the car. But my opinion is a little biased.......

What a little polishing compound (and a little bit of morning after arm pain..) can do.
