5 on 5 won't fit a stock Pontiac or Chev, they were 4.75 into the 80's.

I have an American made ( Janesville,Wisconsin ) Chevrolet Caprice also 5x5 bolt pattern.......
......(apparently available on 1977-1990 American made Caprices)
I've been following this thread with interest. At first it seemed like I was the only guy who had seen the 5" pattern on Caprices in those years. Glad to see I'm not going crazy. I don't really know what it took to have 5" vs. 4 3/4" on those cars.

As Cameron noted, the 77-96 wagons and cop cars had the 5 on 5 pattern. The standard Caprice/Parisenne/Olds Delta and Buick Lesabre through those years had the 5 on 4&3/4. I've had three police cars, one wagon and one Caprice coupe. Only the coupe had the small bolt pattern. The rims on my 73 Biscayne came from my 89 Caprice police car, and I ran 15 by 8, 5 on 5 hole pickup truck rally wheels on that police car.

From what I've been reading Carl , if ordered with the RPO 9c 1 (HD package),you got the 5 x 5 wheels.......
