I have 9 oil filters, PF25 for sale. I bought these when I had my 65 Acadian for the 327. For those of you who don't know, the 64-67 Nova and Acadian V8's were the first small block engine to use a spin on and this is it. The short filter is necessary to clear the clutch linkage. It can be used on any of the 68 and up small blocks and big blocks in place of a PF 35 or on a 194/230/250 but it is a shorter filter than the PF35 by about and inch or maybe inch and a half.
I would like to sell all 9 and was thinking $35 total is a fair price, making them just under $4 each.
Carl, i hope this isn't too dumb a question but would they work on a 1974 Chev 400 V-8. I might be interested if they will work on my 400. Cheers. George

They fit any of the small or big block Chevy applications where a PF35 was the original filter, they are just shorter than the PF35 but otherwise identical.
I thought they'd be cool for someone looking for the old style white Delco filter look. The new ones are all blue now.

Carl, I'll take them off your hands. I'm in no big hurry for them, so I can pay you for them now and then we can figure out some way to transport them. Thanks.
I think these older filters have no check valve in them which would be a better filter when using a high pressure or high volume oil pump. The filters with the check valve cause oil pressure fluctuation when the oil pressure gets to a certain pressure causing the oil pressure to gauge to really bounce around when the valve opens and closes to keep the oil pressure from getting to high. I would buy them if the first George and Clint guys do not.
Yes, I just brought a box home from work about half an hour ago. I plan to get George a quote later tonight. Once he replies I will try to let you know asap.
Right now though, it's nap time!

Had to watch an NBA basketball game, make taco salad for the neighbour with the broken leg, talk on the phone for an hour with a fellow CP member about Pontiacs (and a little bit about life) etc.
Cut me some slack, sheesh, you'd think you're JohnneeD or something!
