My '64 Laurentian 2 door sedan

I have owned this car since April 1972.  It was a high school graduation gift from my father and at the time was just a low mileage, good used car.  He purchased it from a good friend of his who bought the car new at Border Pontiac/Buick/GMC in Niagara Falls, Ontario.  It was equipped with a 283 and Powerglide, full wheel discs, back-up lamps, two speed wipers with washers and whitewall tires.  The car underwent a major restoration in 1986.  I have upgraded it with dual master cylinder power brakes, power steering and a 300hp 327.

I forgot to add that with the 327 upgrade it also got the 2.5 inch in, 2 inch out, dual exhaust with resonators.

Wow!  That's really nice, and amazing that you kept it so long.  Wish I had held onto a few of the cars I had in my younger years, but you know how that goes...

IMHO, it is a great candidate to be a future CP feature car!

Thanks for sharing with us!

Nicely detailed. I wonder how many buyers opted for the 300 horse two door sedan back in 64.

I saw your car parked at the Barrie flea market one year back in the 90s. It stood out then. Probably the nicest Canadian Pontiac 2 door sedan I've seen up close. It's great that you've kept it and looked after it well for so long.

Well done up car. Enjoyed your short story.
We need more of the story as a feature car.

Wow, thank you all for the wonderful compliments...I am humbled. I'm going to put together a detailed story and pics for feature car consideration. Ray, I would think that 300hp 327 was not a popular option on a 2 door sedan. I guess that would be a good question for GM Historical Services.
